Well . . . sigh . . . I've finally stopped trying.
I am so sad to say, there is no possible way to stop her from growing up.
(Although, I'm still up for suggestions, if anyone has some.)
Here are a few happenings from this month . . .
- Sitting up on own (from laying down)
- Showed second sign: "baby"
- Slowly, but surely crawling for longer lengths
- Stood up by herself (Ok, it was only once . . . but enough to justify documentation in my book.)
- Climbed (a few) stairs
- Has become OBSESSED with books (in fact, if she's in a tizzy, you can simply mention the word "book," and she will calm down.)
- Developed a strong clinginess to her father . . . (this is one I may be coming back to address in the future . . .)
- Also . . .
Playing "peekaboo"
"Where's Ross??"
"PEEKABOO!!!"
It's inevitable that next month will be a sob fest.
I'm preparing myself now.
You maybe should, too.

I love the kiss picture! She is so sweet! I can't wait for my kitchen to be finished so you can come play here too. I miss her so much!
She is tooooo adorable! I can't believe it's been almost a year!
what a big girl!!! believe me... i know that the 1 year mark can be really sad for mamas, but try to focus on the exciting stuff about it! it really only gets better from here with each month they grow and learn new things!

Sweet girl! I like the new rug too! We will need something softer the more mobile Warner becomes!
