Baby Gram: 31 Weeks

Goodness. Already.
Babycenter says Gram should be about 3.3 pounds at this point, however, based on the last ultrasound THREE weeks ago, I'd guess he's already surpassed 4 pounds. (Again, I swear my belly is sticking out WAY further than that...plus my hiney is no where near that firm. Seriously, who does this girl think she is?!?!)

Anyway, besides a little more kicking and a lot less hiccuping, so far this pregnancy has been quite similar to Ross's. I'll be honest and tell you, I've reached the point where I'm counting down the days. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm ready to get there. There's no doubt I've been fortunate with great pregnancies...but, as you can imagine, it takes a bit of a toll on you.

I can finally say I've gotten a jump on this little boy's nursery. I believe all that's left are the fabric portions...which involve sewing...that I've been putting off...but it's definitely looking like a nursery these days. There'll soon be lots of post about it on the other blog.

Until then, I'm gonna keep on truckin'...and enjoying the last few weeks I can truly spoil Ross.

An Early Christmas Celebration

Over at the Marsh household, we celebrated Christmas a little early this year
(mainly due to the fact that Cullie might just have a new little baby girl Christmas day)!

I'm SO excited for Ross this year. This year, she REALLY gets it! She can truly start understanding what goes on at Christmas...

and this year, it comes with PRINCESSES. (Which is mostly my fault for pushing it on her more than ever for our Disney trip coming up next month.)

I wish I could describe her excitement when she opened a box filled with not only princesses, but PRINCES to go with...because a princess just doesn't survive without a prince- in her world.

She has spent every waking second since singing and dancing with them...

and that's been pretty special for all of us.

25 Weeks: We've Got a Name!

Today marks 25 weeks...or a little over 6 months. Baby Marsh #2 should look similar to this in size...however, I'm pretty positive, I look much larger.

Times ticking away...you've seen I've gotten the nursery painted (over on the other blog), but there's still a lot of work left to do in that area. Unfortunately, I'm feeling quite behind and a little overwhelmed when it comes to all that.

In other news, I am excited to reveal, we have established a name! You may or may not know Grady is a Junior...and well, he's always said how crazy it'd be to not have a III'd. So, I've always known our first boy would be Timothy Grady Marsh, III. However, with two "Tim's" in the family already and a "Grady" in our house, we were torn with what to actually call him.

We knew the obvious..."Trip"..."Trey"...we even considered "Tres," but none of them seemed to be catching on. Thankfully, our good friend Kim had been brainstorming and helped us come up with something that seemed to fit perfectly...

"Gram"
That would be the Gra from Grady and the m from Marsh.

Maybe a stretch? Maybe not. Regardless, we're pretty thrilled, and it sure is nice to finally have a name to match...well, my big belly.

Weekend Trip to the Mountain House

Although we were originally supposed to spend the weekend in the mountains with the whole family, it ended up plans fell through...so Grady and I decided to take Ross anyway!

We ventured out to the very first Mast General Store...

where Ross was truly a "kid in a candy store!"

And, we had our first family gem mining experience.

It turned out to be such a sweet, little weekend...
one of our last as a family of 3.

Albino Skunk Fest!

A lot of dancing...and singing...and playing!
