FUN with Frames!

After contemplating for weeks now, I finally decided what to do with my frame I found a while ago . . .


I knew, no doubt, our bedroom wall needed a lot of work . . . but hadn't quite figured out how I was going to fill such a large and empty space without cluttering it up.

. . . until I thrifted for some frames.

A "New" Step Stool

Lately, I've been in desperate need of a step stool. I despise climbing up on the countertop to get things. So it had been my latest mission to find one.

And, what do you know, Fleming spotted the perfect one!

It's been a month for birthdays!
We've spend the last couple of weekends with all the fam celebrating!

Now, on to some projects . . .

A Front Door Face Lift

I've been dying to change our boring front door numbers to something big, bright and bold! In fact, I've been a bit obsessed about it . . . searching everywhere for new ideas.

I found this old piece of wood at the flea market in Charlotte a few weeks ago in the hopes that I could attach my numbers to it.


Meanwhile, I had been searching around for interesting old tin containers at the thrift stores . . .

. . . and the final product came out like this.

I'm definitely excited about it, but in all honesty I wanted something larger . . . and brighter. Grady's mom gave me a few more good ideas, so who knows. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to using this as indoor decor either.
