This year Ross really understood it was something special!

Our Christmas Morn

I know I'm a bit behind! Here are a few snap shots of Christmas at our house!

A little side note . . . although Ross decided NOT to sit on Santa's lap (after waiting in line for almost an hour), she did however, rehearse what she would have asked Santa to bring her. And, I wasn't at all surprised to hear, "ICE!" (i.e. ice cream) You better believe, Mimi & Papa made sure that happened . . .

Making Cookies

This week we made cookies for the very first time!

I wasn't sure what Ross was going to do. In fact, I had visions of red and green sugar everywhere . . . but as it turned out, Ross was born to be a baker!

She was QUITE proud of her cookie decorating talent! Things were going wonderfully . . . UNTIL . . .

we had to put them in the oven. 

And for exactly 12 minutes, we cried and cried and cried.

Of course, things changed once we got our first bite!

Looks like we'll be making cookies more often around here . . .

Christmas Tree Shopping!

I CAN'T believe it's already time to decorate for Christmas again! I've been running around crazy trying to get everything in order! Grady's been appreciating the Christmas music that now plays in the house all day and night . . . considering he's heard it at The Pottery since Halloween . . . 

But, it wasn't until we went Christmas tree shopping that it really became the "Christmas Season" around here!

Easter Weekend

The Saturday before Easter our neighborhood had the most precious little gathering for (eating and) egg hunting!

I don't know where she learned how to do it . . .

but, clearly egg hunting is her thing!

Easter morning Ross recieved her very first gifts from the Easter Bunny . . .

and seemed quite pleased with what he chose for her!

(That is, everything besides the bunny ears . . .)

And we just couldn't have Easter without one more egg hunt!

After church, we couldn't wait to celebrate with family!
