It's no doubt there are some cute outdoor rugs out there (many at a high price, of course, and none of which that claim to stay clean (-looking) around a wild, ravenous dog all day). So I sought out to find something relatively cheap as well as something that I knew would remain somewhat attractive.
Nothing.
Finally, I resorted to what a knew best . . . my $6 "Pier 1" doormats. I love them. Having 3 already, I know how (deceptively) clean they stay.
Copying a similar pattern seen in "Better Homes and Gardens," I put my . . . excuse me, Salsa's new outdoor rug together.
Now, I do believe, we're good to go!

Love the rug! You can buy those sewn together like that at World Market, but it is much more fun to make it yourself!! :)
