5 Months Old

5 months has been a big mark for Ross. She's accomplished so much I can't help but share. This month she has . . .

• fully transitioned into 2 long naps a day
• put the plug in her mouth by herself (when we put it in her hands)
• rolled over from stomach to back (although does not like to do this . . .)
• started eating rice cereal and loves it!
• bounced in the "Johnny Jump-Up" for the first time
• started to fall back to sleep on her own (without a plug) in the wee hours of the morning
• started grabbing and holding her toes
• showed us that she recognizes certain words
• rolled over from back to stomach (and constantly wants to do this!)
• tries to "scoot" on all fours

It seems with each month she just keeps getting more and more fun! I can't wait to get her out of the crib in the mornings and squeeze her! She really is the sweetest girl who more often than not is happy and content. We are so extremely lucky to have this new little person in our lives . . .

There's no way we can possible thank God enough.
