Gracious. I do aplogize it's taken me so long to get this post up...but I'll fully admit, a life with two children has been much different than a life with only one. On top of that adjustment, our house was infected with a somach bug...which took things to a whole new level. I keep thinking God allowed this so that once things are up and running "normally"...or as they should...it will seem easy.
Anyway, if you remember, I last posted about my pregnancy and that since I was already dilated 3 cm, we were sitting on the edge of our seats just waiting for the signs...
Well, as it turned out, no signs came, and I went in for induction the morning of Feb. 12, 2013. I was in fact, dilated 4 cm by then, and once the pitocin started, things moved even faster than I anticipated. Before I knew it, I was already at 7 cm clutched to the bed frightened I was about to miss my opportunity for the epidural.
Thank goodness that didn't happen.
So, at exactly 9:43 am (3 hours after the pitocin began), little Gram was born.
I wish I could sit here and describe what it was like, but there just simply aren't any words to describe the feeling of it...
And, it's no less exciting the second go around...
In fact, maybe it was even a little more exciting with a big sis involved...
Regardless, there's no question that we are blessed. I feel so fortunate God handed over such a sweet and precious, little boy to us.
I do hope we make Him proud.
