I have no doubt our preacher was speaking directly to me this week . . .

Last week, Ross officially learned how to speak the word, "no!"
And, although a part of me knows this is perfectly normal and that all children go through this stage . . . the other part of me has been caught taking long, deep breathes (several times a day).
You'd think, being a former kindergarten teacher, I'd be well prepared for this . . . however, a 5 year old's brain and a 1 year old's brain aren't quite the same.
Yesterday I ordered this . . .

Of course, Grady laughs at me . . .
(Much like when he laughed at me for reading Babywise 4 times . . .
hmmm . . . though, I also seem to recall she was sleeping through the night at 10 weeks . . .)
Anyway. The point is, things are changing around here.
And, even though, I see a well behaved, sweet little girl most of the day . . .

Holly- I am one of Jennifer's friends and have enjoyed reading your blog. I am a HUGE Babywise momma and loved 1-2-3 Magic for discipline. Good luck!
Wonderful! Thank you!
I just don't believe it! However, you go ahead and try all these things out and tell me what works! ;)
lots of praise for good behaviors, plenty of distractions, and an occasional time-out have worked for bailey... but we still get caught in the occasional tantrum... i don't think there's any way to escape it
I am making sure Kati sees this blog.(even though she is a little busy, Baby girl will be here by Monday!) Cole is also going through a little of the terrrble 2's
Not my sweet baby niece! ;-) You probably just need to give her what she wants. (Hee Hee!)
The two's weren't that bad for KB.... it was the three's!!! She definitely showed a lil attitude!
