4 Month Well Check

I can't even believe I'm writing about this.
How in the world has she grown so fast?

Weight: 12.9 lbs (23rd percentile)
Length: 25 in. (75th percentile)

Which means she's grown another inch
and gained another 2 pounds.

I love going to the doctor and finding out all that fun information
. . . however, I hate watching Ross get shots. I do not recall her shots being so traumatic last visit. She let out the most horrific cry! I've never heard her cry like that before.

Oh, it was awful.
My stomach is still in knots.

Let's hope she'll feel better after this nap . . . with her plug. (Goodness gracious.)

P.S. We asked the doctor once and for all how long we should be swaddling her . . . and his answer: "As long as you can."

That's all I needed to hear. :)

After her 5 MONTH well visit her boyfriend should be here! :) He'll protect her from those nasty shots!

P.S. I do not have those cute A-line dresses in the clothes boxes!
Also, I may need to be borrowing your exersaucer!

Kristy, we can't wait!!

on the bright side you don't have to go back until 6 months now... and then it's 9 and 12 months. so the shots get more spread out. the down side to this is that you have to wait so long to get their measurements.

ALSO... by all means swaddle her if it helps her sleep!!! when one blanket wouldn't contain bailey craig resorted to swaddling her in two! one for her top half and the other for her bottom half... it looked absolutely ridiculous, but it worked!

Oh, we know!!! Grady came up with the same plan! We use a "Swaddle Me" blanket- but she'd get right out of it, so we started swaddling her in a normal blanket underneath. It's the only thing that will contain her, but she's sleeping 11 hours because of it!
