She's already 5 weeks old, and it still hasn't even set in that we're parents! I just can't believe how time flies.
Thank goodness she seems to be eating well (even after our feeding time transition). We won't go back to the doctor for another 3 weeks, but based on our scale, she's about 10 lbs! (It amazes me that some people give birth to children this size . . .)
We've tested out a few new activities this week . . . including this play mat. She adores it . . . for about 10 minutes . . . but it's a great way to see her smile and let out what seems to be a little laugh. (Maybe I can get a video of this soon!)
It is still incomprehensible how lucky I am that God has given me such a family. I just can't understand how I can deserve something so wonderful.
She's still a bit leery of the swing. She'll happily sit in it . . . if she's already asleep . . . which isn't too hard, since this still seems to be her most favorite activity of them all!
Grateful simply isn't a strong enough word . . .

she'll adjust to the swing... when they're that little their vision isn't so good and the motion of the swing can make them feel bad. in a few weeks i'm sure you'll notice a big difference!
Look at that sweet little smile!
She has THE life! I will switch with her!!
I am so excited about seeing her tomorrow! I REALLY miss her! I know she has grown! Can't wait!!!!
