Maybe it's just me . . .
Or maybe it's just the thought of another grand opportunity to change a few decorations that gets me excited!
I saw this idea a couple years ago in Cottage Living (Oh, how I miss you, Cottage Living), and I never forgot it. Turns out it was even easier than I anticipated!
Grady helped me get my pumpkins in order . . .
I printed out a font I liked from Word and simply taped it to the pumpkin. Thankfully, I realized permanent marker would show up through the paper and on the pumpkin before I tried to cut out all my stencils.
Then, came the painting!
But, why stop at numbers?
An easy fix for the mantel was a couple Magnolia branches from the yard and a few mini pumpkins!

Love it! I remember see the numbers on the pumpkins in cottage living! How sad that mag is gone! I am totally doing the letters on my pumpkins too!! :)
So cute! Great idea. How did you get the pumpkins to stay stacked? Did you use something to attach them? or did you just stack them? What font did you use?
Btw- I am a friend of Amy Skaggs (who is a friend of your sister) I admit, I am a total blogstalker and fellow teacher :)
You are ridiculously cute.
Surprisingly, no. We tried to pick out pumpkins that looked stackable- and it ended up working out! However, if a tornado comes through, they're done for.
I love all the decorations! I need to get on it!!
you are so creative! Keep the ideas comin!
OMG! I absolutely love the monogram!!! I might just have to borrow that idea. The numbers are pretty darn cute also! You are so creative, I love seeing what you are going to do next.
