A Chain "POST" Starter . . .

Although, I know Grady will inevitably grow more and more tired of some of the things I continue to cook . . . over . . . and over . . . and over again . . . I simply can't help it. They are the recipes I keep coming back to, because they're fast and healthy and GOOD, damn it!

So why not share them?

(You may already know this one . . . )

*EASY Crock Pot Chicken*: (Really, you can not go wrong!)
-1 whole Chicken
-Olive Oil
-Salt/Spices of your choice
-Water (or chicken broth)

1. Spray crock pot sides with non-stick spray.
2. Place whole chicken in crock pot.
3. Rub on and under skin with olive oil and spices.
4. Fill crock pot with about 1 1/2 cups water (or chicken broth).
5. Turn pot on for 10 hours (or as long as it will go).

I'm telling you . . . ridiculously good.

Alright, that's a staple in our house . . . now what's one in yours?
Post NOW!
( . . . on your blog . . .)

(And no, you will not receive 36 new pair of underwear in a couple of weeks . . . sorry.)

Happy Memorial Day!

Thanks to Dave and Kristy, we were able to spend a day at the lake this weekend! It's been so long since I've had the opportunity to be at the lake . . . I forgot how much fun it is!

And although we now lack an iPhone (due to lake exposure) . . . we sure had a grand time!

Happy Birthday Alex!

Everyone was excited to go to "Jump Zone" this weekend for Alex's big bash! What a fun time!

Though, it may have been Alex's new "Buzz Lightyear" costume
that made him most excited of all!

An Update on Salsa

Thankfully, now that warm weather is here, we've been spending a lot more time out on the porch (or Salsa's home), and I would just like to reveal that I have observed a change in Salsa.

It is my belief that Salsa's maturing.

Now, don't get me wrong.
She's still high sprung . . .

. . . and certainly still in your face.

But, I do believe she's obedient . . . and does listen (when she chooses).

And, for the most part . . . she really is more relaxed,
and seems to really enjoy our company.

I guess my point is . . .
little Salsa is (finally) growing up.

Thrifting . . . yet again.

I told you it was bad . . .
Today, however, my mom was along for the ride and found some goodies herself! (Sorry mom- you'll have to do your own post.)

My latest find were these cute ottomans . . .

. . . which is now our extra seating on the porch.

I do believe Salsa already feels more at home . . .
